EMC Sports - A warm day brought out many lawn bowlers from the region to Smiths Falls for the annual Street KIA lawn bowling tournament Aug. 2.

The Galetta team of Grant Fletcher (skip), Bob Smith (second/vice) and Sue Smith (lead) had a 46 score and won the three game high trophy.

Fellow Galetta team Rico Sylvestro (skip), Leone Braby (second/vice) and Flo Barclay (lead) were right behind them with 38 points and three game high score.

Taking home the two game high score was our very own Smiths Falls team of Ron Hughes (skip), Toby Cassell (second/vice) and Ruth Duffy (lead). They earned 43+5 points for this honour.

The Prescott team rounded out the score sheet with the one game high score and total score of 37. Working together to make this happen were: Bill Latham (skip), Ginette Mallar (second/vice) and Mary Campbell (lead).

Mary Tremblay of Brockville won the 50-50 draw.
