EMC Events - The damp weather on April 21 didn't deter REAL (Rideau Environmental Acting League) volunteers from 'pitching-in' to help clean up the area near Fergusson and Ferrara Drives in Smiths Falls. REAL organized the event in order to allow those individuals and groups who hadn't registered officially for Pitch-In Canada Week, to have the opportunity to clean up their community. Left, REAL volunteers Brenda King, left, and Barb Hicks pause for a break. Even King's dog Shaemus, far left, got in on the fun.
