Smiths Falls convenience store robbed Feb. 7
Posted Feb 8, 2010 By EMC NewsOn Sunday, Feb. 7, shortly before 1 p.m., Express Variety Convenience Store, Smiths Falls, was robbed by a lone male person.
The male entered the store and brandished a weapon to the store clerk. The male was wearing a mask. The police are not releasing what was taken at this time.
The suspect was observed leaving the store by customers and was chased off on foot. The store clerk was not injured during the robbery.
The Smiths Falls Police Service with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police searched the area. The male was not located.
